Position Summary


We are currently looking for a Senior Sales Representative to work remotely out of the New Jersey, Eastern New York, or Southern Connecticut area. In this role, you will be responsible actively for selling services and solutions, focused on water and wastewater for our Heavy Industry segment, in your designated territory. This will include selling equipment rentals/contracts, outsourced water systems and general services to new and existing customers in the heavy industry market segments.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks


  • Sell products, services and solutions to customers and acts as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business year over year. 
  • Maintains relationships with accounts by visiting customer sites within assigned territory, defined by geographic area, industry, or product/service segment. In addition to face-to-face meetings, engage with customers in a variety of mediums to close sales and support clients. 
  • Responds to client inquiries and offers bold recommendations on appropriate products and solutions. 
  • Responsible for advancing opportunities through the sales stages in CRM, along with being accountable for CRM data used for forecasting and SIOP. 
  • Must work with a sense of urgency to execute sales strategy, generate sales reports, and identify opportunities to increase sales volume while ensuring service levels are met.
  • Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner            
  • Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos and facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)                


Position Requirements


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, BA/BS preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience selling products in services to companies in the heavy industry market segment
  • Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
  • Strong sales techniques and strong understanding of company offerings
  • Comprehensive knowledge in area of specialization
  • Working knowledge and ability of the collaborative selling process
  • Ability to complete sales with little to no supervision
  • Demonstrates strong ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers
  • Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
  • Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Additional Details


Travel Requirements: 60%- Typically 3 days of the week within driving distance; Some overnight travel as needed; Company vehicle provided.
