Position Summary

Evoqua Water Technologies is searching for a Field Service Technician to service our customers in the Benicia Channel, California area. This position will involve working closely with carbon filtration systems including activated carbon exchanges. Our Field Service Technicians interface with customers to provide quality service and feedback on problem evaluation and resolution, which also includes complex product and service training to customers.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

•    Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
•    Takes care of company property
•    Trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
•    Identify and remedy safety issues – both Company and Customer owned equipment
•    Direct interfacing with customer
•    Potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies

•    Accountable to customer for operation and repair of the system

Position Requirements

•    HS diploma or equivalent

•    Ability to obtain TWIC card
•    One year of work experience in a refinery setting preferred
•    0-2 years technical experience
•    Experience with Microsoft office including smart devises
•    Must have customer service experience
•    Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
•    Able to pass a credit check
•    Able to obtain a CDL, class A or B with applicable endorsements

•    Able to operate a company vehicle
•    Able to pass driver requirements which include:  
•    Driver Application for Employment
•    Driver Disclosure and Release
•    Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
•    FMCSA Certificate of Awareness
•    Driver Certificate of Violations
•    Driver Statement of On Duty Hours
•    Road Test
•    Copy of Driver’s License (Front and Back)
•    Copy of Medical Certificate

•    Must be able to function in a team environment
•    Usually works with direct supervision but can work independently if needed
