Want to work for a company making an impact on the environment?  Evoqua Water Technologies, the global leader in helping municipalities and industrial customers protect and improve the world’s water is seeking a Field Service Technician in Centennial Colorado.

 

Executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.  The Field Service Technician position is responsible for performing semi-complex equipment exchanges, installation and service execution on customer's water treatment systems.   The position involves use of basic plumbing skills, computer skills, loading and unloading of service vehicles, forklift operation, hand trucks as well as all applicable paperwork.

***This is a 1st shift position *** 

What you will do:

  • Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization •
  • Takes care of company property
  • Trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
  • Identify and remedy safety issues – both Company and Customer owned equipment
  • Direct interfacing with customer
  • Potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies

  • Accountable to customer for operation and repair of the system 

What you will need:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years technical experience ( preferably 1 year of experience in plumbing, electrical or mechanically inclined)
  • Experience with Microsoft office including smart devises
  • Must have customer service experience
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
  • Ability to operate a forklift ( we will train)
  • Able to operate a company vehicle

 

Would be nice to have:

  • DOT Certification
  • Forklift Certification
  • Able to obtain a CDL
  • PLC Programming exp
  • Experience working on pump, reverse osmosis systems and /or water softeners
