Aftermarket – Inside Sales Representative

Position Overview

The Aftermarket Account Rep is responsible for handling customer requirements for quoting, order processing, proactive selling, and reporting of sales related data. They must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment, be proactive in reaching out to customers and working with others to increase aftermarket sales in assigned territory.  This position works out of the Colorado Springs, CO office, but will consider other locations as necessary for supporting the Elcat product line. 

 

Job Duties:

  • Prepare customer pricing and proposals for customer requests and proactive selling

 

  • Monitors sales order system to ensure accurate receipt and booking of sales orders

 

  • Tracks sales shipment, delivery, billing and backlog activities, providing internal sales reports

 

  • Responds to inquiries regarding status of orders and resolves customer order difficulties

 

  • Ensure that all quotes are completed in a timely and consistent manner

 

 

Job Requirements:
 

  • Four-year Degree in Business or related field or equivalent 5 to 7 years in related field

 

  • The ability to understand technical, complex solutions and mechanical products is a strong asset, previous experience in the Marine market is preferred.

 

  • Must be professional and dependable, able to deal with both internal and external customer inquiries

 

  • Professional communication skills and business etiquette required, able to multi-task and be proactive, must be able to efficiently organize, demonstrate customer first perspective.

 

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software; Word, Excel, Outlook.  SAP experience a plus.
     
  • Understanding of CRM systems and ability and make required updates

 

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; with SAP experience a plus
