Evoqua Water Technologies is searching for an experienced Business Development Manager Western United Sates. This role can be anywhere near a major airport in the Western Half of the United States.

 

This position is responsible for increasing business in the ProAct Environmental Solutions segment. The role includes expanding our Emerging Contaminant and PFAS destruction business in both existing and new markets, strategic account management, and technical sales support. This position will work closely with sales, product scientists, product quality, service, production, application engineering, and marketing. The candidate should share our vision of growing our position in the Industrial and Municipal markets.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical assistance to sales and marketing to acquire new business opportunities.
  • Provide technical training to further develop Sales Representatives.
  • Develop and perform technical webinars and presentations to position Evoqua as a SME in relevant markets.
  • Develop and maintain account management plans for strategic accounts.
  • Develop, build and cultivate long term relationships with key players in strategic accounts.
  • Represent Evoqua on industry committees.
  • Identify emerging markets and create strategic plans to develop market share including competitive analysis, market sizing, drivers, Evoqua’s value proposition, etc.
  • Evaluate data and differentiate solution offerings supported by SWOT analysis.
  • Assist Marketing in the creation of relevant marketing collateral and sales tools.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree 
  • 8 or more years of similar industry experience
  • Availability to travel
  • Relevant background and understanding of the PFAS market
