  • Responsible for DDC control installation, commissioning, programming, setting up graphics, communications link, end to end testing, troubleshooting and servicing on assigned projects.
  • Provides diagnostic evaluations and upgrades to complex automated systems.
  • Responsible for documenting point to point verification, sequence of operations, validation and project close out requirements.
  • Must possess good teamwork and collaboration skills. Must be able to work as a team on process improvements, safety issues, quality improverments, and productivity improvements.
  • Provide maintenance and trouble shooting of existing mechanical/electrical systems.
  • On assigned projects, ensure work product meets the customers requirements, production output and quality requirements.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical mindset.
  • Excellent listening and problem-solving skills and must be able to follow directions.
  • Coordinates with internal staff to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installations/repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Keeps current on DDC control technology and required maintenance and service upgrades.
  • Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued tools.
  • Display teamwork being flexibility to work overtime as needed to meet the manufacturing requirements.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent required, and at least 3-5 years of experience in Building automation or equivalent education and experience. Technical School or formal training is preferred.
  • Proficiency with handheld diagnostic tools for motors & drives troubleshooting.
  • Previous experience with DDC controls system preferred.
  • This position requires working in diverse conditions including, but not limited to, mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).

This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling and use of a ladder. Job will require lifting of heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
