Evoqua Water Technologies is currently searching for an experienced Field Service Technician in the Denver, CO area.

The Service Technician II position is responsible for performing semi-complex equipment exchanges, installation and service execution on customer's water treatment systems.   The position involves use of basic plumbing skills, computer skills, loading and unloading of service vehicles, forklift operation, hand trucks as well as all applicable paperwork.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Promotes safe work practices and insures high levels of customer service are met to drive profitability and growth
  • Operates in compliance with standard tools/methodologies in compliance with corporate safety standards
  • Communicates services provided via written, verbal, and electronic methods
  • Maintains a clean driving record and complies with all Fleet Safety requirements.
  • Performs preventative maintenance services that include data collection, analytical testing and provides feedback/recommendations to improve system performance and quality
  • Provides guidance and support to less experienced technicians

May be responsible for:   

  • Picks, inventories and loads required materials for days work
  • Performs equipment installations, exchanges, and troubleshooting
  • Participates in all Continuous Improvement activities, i.e. 5S and LEAN 101
  • Performs after hours “On Call” service based on location schedule
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; specialized skill training/certification may be required
  • Generally, 2-5 years of successfully demonstrated  experience in area of responsibility
  • May require DOT/CDL certification (dependent on location)

  • Basic computer skills (for ability to operate corporate tools, i.e. Cell Phone, tablet)

  • Mid-range plumbing, basic electrical circuit knowledge

  • Specialized skill/training or certification may be required in addition to Tech B part 1 and 2 certification
