Position Summary

Sells products, services and solutions to customers and acts as point of contact post-sale, focusing on ongoing customer satisfaction, retention, and growing business year over year. The ideal candidate will have the ability to drive growth to an established customer base within construction zones, environmental remediation zones and chemical plants sectors.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

•    Contacts both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business 
•    Creates and delivers quotes and proposals to deliver to customers                
•    Ensures customer satisfaction and retention                
•    Accurately records information in CRM for forecasting                
•    Continues to stay up to date on company and customer technology to remain a trusted partner            
•    Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos                
•    Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)                
•    Sells complex products and services; utilizes developing knowledge of products, services, and industry to recommend best solutions to customers
•    Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION: 
Required:
•    High School Diploma or equivalent
•    2-5 years of experience  
Preferred: 
•    BA/BS 
    
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required: 
•    Strong communication skills
•    Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
•    Strong sales techniques and strong understanding of company offerings
•    Comprehensive knowledge in area of specialization
•    Working knowledge and ability of the collaborative selling process
•    Ability to complete sales with little to no supervision
•    Demonstrates strong ability to identify and cultivate sales from new and/or existing customers
•    Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
•    Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
•    Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Additional Details

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 30% to 60%, as determined by business needs

Geographical travel states include: MD, VA, NC, SC, TN, GA, FL
