Evoqua Water Technologies is currently seeking a Master Field Service Technician


Initiates and executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner. 


  • Creates and maintains a safe working environment and culture within the organization

  • Takes care of company property

  • Works with more advanced and multi/complex systems

  • Proactively troubleshoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions

  • Anticipates and corrects safety issues – both company and customer-owned equipment

  • May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers

  • Provides coaching or training to entry-level technicians

Organization Impact:
Backup/escalation of technical service support

  • Customer-facing

  • High utilization

  • Highly accountable to customers for operation and repair of the systems



  • High school diploma (or GED equivalent) – ideally with industry-relevant experience.

    • A Water / Wastewater Treatment Operator License is desirable.

  • Ability to obtain TWIC card

  • 3 to 7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience

  • Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices

  • Must have customer service experience

  • Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability

  • Basic controls ability (PLC)

  • Able to pass a credit check and valid driver’s license

  • Must be able to function in a team environment

Technical Skill Requirements:


  • Plumbing experience

  • Electrical experience 


Preferred Requirements: 

  • PLC 

  • Pumps

  • Motors

  • High Purity Water Systems 


Additional Information

Must be able to sit, stand, hear, and see on a constant basis.
Must be able to walk, write, and type on a frequent basis. 
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. 
Must be able to climb and descend stairs. 
Must be able to bend, carry, reach, push, and pull on an occasional basis.
Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing. 
May work indoors and outdoors as needed. Exposure to heat up to 120 degrees and cold to 0 degrees. 
May work in areas where noise level is such that hearing protection is required. 
May be exposed to varying amounts of dust and dirt. 
Work surfaces may include concrete. 
The employee must be able to operate a computer and communicate via telephone. 
Some travel to other locations, meetings and/or seminars is required.
