Evoqua Water Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Field Service Manager for the Greer, South Carolina area.

 

Provides tactical and strategic level management and leadership to field service professionals at multiple locations (The Greer LIT Branch and the Charleston LIT Branch).       


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS       

  • Creates and maintains a safe working environment and culture within the organization 
  • Takes care of company property 
  • Involved in setting department budgets and managing expenses 
  • Actively involved in workforce planning 
  • Expected to address and resolve employee relation issues and escalate significant issues to management  
  • Translates customer requirements into workforce plans and objectives 
  • Creates onsite visibility into KPIs and metrics and can provide input into metrics to management 
  • Responsible for attraction, retention, engagement, performance, development of employees 
  • Provides day to day direction of the fundamental task

  • Responsible for customer management and retention in area/scope, 
  • Financial contract and operations impact at planning/strategic level 

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS 

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred 
  • Technical degree, equivalent military experience, or applicable industry equivalent experience instead of a degree  
  • Ability to obtain TWIC card 
  • Ability to obtain a CDL, Class A, or B with applicable endorsements 
  • 5-7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience or 3 years of  industry-specific experience 
  • 3 years of leadership or management experience 
  • Proficient with computers, business software such as Microsoft Office, Skype, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions 
  • Ability to communicate up, down, across teams 
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams 
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and complex troubleshooting to guide and advise team members and customers 
  • Ability to defuse customer situations or internal issues 
  • Able to pass a credit check 
  • Able to operate a company vehicle 
  • Responsible for the daily field service operations of the Greer and Charleston LIT branch offices. 
  • Extensive knowledge of water purification processes and equipment.
