Position Summary

Evoqua is looking for an Expert Field Service Technician to service and maintain our industrial water treatment equipment located in Lima Ohio.

What your day will look like as an Expert Field Service Technician

The Expert Field Service Technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of our water purification equipment within our Heavy Industrial division. Equipment specific training will be provided, but previous experience working in the water and/or wastewater treatment industry is preferred.

This position is day shift hours with overtime opportunities as available along with compensated on-call.  There will be a required weekend shift to cover every third weekend.

Position Requirements for Expert Field Service Technicians

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • 5-7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience preferred.
  • Basic controls ability (PLC) a plus but not required
  • Experience with Microsoft office, including the ability to utilize smart devices
  • Ability to work in a high customer facing position
  • Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
  • Ability to obtain a TWIC card
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Able to pass a credit check
