Position Summary

Evoqua is looking for a Field Service Service Technician to service our customers in northern California.
What your day will look like as a Field Service Technician
The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, specifically in the dialysis industry, utilizing a company service vehicle. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.
This position runs on a swing shift Monday-Friday, running primarily afternoons/evenings, and will involve occasional weekends as well as a compensated on-call rotation.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks
- Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
- Takes care of company property
- Trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
- Identify and remedy safety issues – both Company and Customer owned equipment
- Direct interfacing with customers
- Potentially at multiple sites with multiple technologies
Position Requirements
FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
- HS diploma or equivalent
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:
- One year of work experience preferred
- 0-2 years technical experience preferred- industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
- Able to push, pull or lift 50+ lbs.
- Experience with Microsoft office including smart devices
- Must have customer service experience
- Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen
- Ability to operate company service vehicle safely

- Must be able to function in a team environment
- Usually works with direct supervision but can work independently if needed
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50% or more daily/local
Pay range: $27.13- $28.56/hourly
