Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide installation, start-ups, investigative tests, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance to our water treatment equipment (such as Reverse Osmosis, CDI, and Deionization water systems) at multiple customer locations throughout the area.
  • Will provide semi-complex training to customers on products and services, as well as documenting all installations, inspections, maintenance, repair work, etc.
  • The key responsibility for the Field Service Technician is to effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them, including performing repair or referring more complex issues.

  

Requirements:

 

  • HS Diploma or GED equivalency; Associate’s Degree or vocational/ technical training is strongly desired
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in high purity water directly related to installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment (pumps)
  • Minimum of 3 years of general experience in plumbing and electrical (panels)
  • Industrial water treatment or water chemistry experience preferred, but not necessary
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record, must meet eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical
  • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to push or pull up to 300 pounds for up to 20% of the work day
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work overtime, nights, weekends as required in the on-call after-hours rotation
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required safety equipment
