POSITION SUMMARY

Position can be Director or Senior Director based on experience. Develop/Lead/Direct commercial initiatives aimed at increasing penetration within Power vertical market. Allows specific targeted sales applications for selling Evoqua Solutions for the Power market. Provide leadership and vertical market expertise to obtain maximum sales revenues and attainment of corporate objectives.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

· Responsible for Evoqua’s overall approach to the Power market and will drive growth by carefully and selectively pursuing actions to differentiate Evoqua’s product and service offers to the market. Approaches Power vertical with a market-back focus in order to define the viable market and the technology required.

· Provide vertical market leadership to commercial team; Identifies and resolves most complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.

· Creates market campaigns designed to increase awareness of Evoqua solutions and services among internal and external users, influencers, and specifiers

· Provides insight and suggestions to M&A (mergers and acquisitions) team as necessary.

· Translates industry drivers into actionable market and sales initiatives designed to increase sales into the relevant vertical market

· Growth in sales and EBITDA for the Power vertical market

· Growth in rate of success for pursuit of opportunities in emerging Power market

· Increased vertical market sales penetration, measured both by penetration into number of customers, as well as by increased share of wallet captured per customer in the vertical market

· Owner of "virtual P&L" of vertical markets, (KPI's for role include market P&L)

· Large degree of autonomy with responsibility to make decisions that have significant impact on business results and strategy

· Directs sales and R&D strategy and direction within Power customer segment

· Recognized as authority/SME in Power solutions in Evoqua and at customers

· Demonstrates mastery of solution and value selling

· Knowledge of emerging trends in Power industry/customer vertical, and contributes to (and influences) solution offerings

· Critical key account assignments with revenue, profit, and VOC responsibility for Evoqua business within a vertical

· Identifies and resolves complex commercial issues and applies proble

 

This position could be remote and candidate could be located anywhere within the US.

This position may require up to 50% travel.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

· MBA degree is preferred.

· Broad knowledge of Power emerging trends is required.

· Knowledge of and experience with marketing tools is required.

· Ability to define/develop tactics to drive growth and support overall strategies is required.

· Highly skilled with PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc. is required.

· 3+ years of Marketing experience, preferably within the target vertical is required.

· Experience translating industry drivers into actionable market and sales initiatives is required.

· Ability to assess viable market and prioritize relationships is required.

· Proven sales and EBIDTA growth is required.

· Mastery of solution and value selling is required.

· Water treatment and industry experience is preferred.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM is preferred.
