POSITION SUMMARY

The Field Service Technician will perform basic customer support activities involving the service, installation, modification & repair of water treatment equipment and systems. We are looking for someone who wants a career path, enjoys working with customers, and always has 'safety first' in their work day.

 

The position is Monday through Friday with normal day shift hours however there will be some after hours and overtime required.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS    

  • Operate company delivery truck (gross weight less than 56,000 lbs)
  • Maintain vehicle operating log
  • Install, repair, service, and troubleshoot SDI systems with tank sizes up to 42CF
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance service for water treatment systems that include: pre-treatment, Reverse Osmosis (RO), continuous electrical deionization (CDI, cartridge filters, and ultraviolet (UV) radiation systems, and laboratory-water purification systems
  • Sanitize simple purified-water recirculation loops and laboratory-water purification systems
  • Order processing
  • Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • FORMAL EDUCATION:
    • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Drivers License & clean driving record. Must be able to pass DOT certification
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a respirator required
  • Mechanical/electrical/plumbing related experience/background
  • Prio experience in reading schematics, PID’s, review blueprints and plans preferred
  • Water industry experience preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lb. objects
  • Willing to travel up to 25% (some overnight involved)
  • Ability to work overtime as needed
  • Prior experience working on laptop/tablet for communication, submitting reports, processing Service Order Tickets preferred
