Evoqua Water Technologies is currently seeking an experienced Process Operator Lead in Indianapolis, IN.



  • The lead is responsible for the operation of the vessels in the assigned area.
  • Must be able to monitor all flow rates, monitor the PLC, and check all valves continually for correct operation.
  • The lead is in direct contact with the vessels the majority of the day.  Each batch must be started with a visual inspection of all equipment involved in the regeneration process.
  • Should be thoroughly knowledgeable in the process of producing a quality batch and must be able to troubleshoot any issues that occur during the process.
  • The lead should be mechanically capable to perform minor repairs to vessels and equipment as needed.
  • Must have excellent communication skills – both with his team and management and must have the ability to direct the team to consistently meet daily production goals.
  • During times of low staffing the lead is required to assist in running quality tests and also loading the completed unit.
  • Final documentation of the batch is the responsibility of both the Lead and the Tech. 
  • The lead must pass the Regen Operator test within 180 days.
  • Must be educated and maintain a working knowledge of all SOPs associated with the regeneration process. 
  • The lead is responsible for the daily housekeeping of his area and all equipment.
  • Must maintain an acceptable attendance record which will be monitored continuously by the supervisor.
  • Must be knowledgeable of all safety requirements and that all team members are conforming.
  • The leads primary responsibility is the ability to produce the required number of quality batches on a consistent basis.



  1. Must have basic management skills – previous lead or supervisory exp. a plus

  8. Ability to stand for long periods
  9.  Attention to detail
  10.  Responsible for assisting in scheduling production for the department
