Evoqua Water Technologies is currently searching for an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in the Jacksonville, FL area! 

 

The primary responsibility of the Site Field Service Technician will be to operate a media filtration & reverse osmosis wastewater processing system(s).

 

 

You will:

  • Provide preventive maintenance, investigative tests, troubleshooting, and repairs to water treatment equipment.
  • Collect operating data and record, as well as document all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Effectively identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them, including performing repair or referring more complex issues to others.
  • Perform onsite chemical cleanings of RO systems.

 

The work week consists of five(5), 8-hour shifts, (minimum 80 hours per 2 week pay period), and may include occasional weekends and/or holidays if needed. This position will require the technician to be on the road approximately 85% of the time.

 

 

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent GED required. (Associates degree or 2 years vocational/technical training preferred).
  • Mechanical Background required.  Must be mechanically inclined.
  • Able to lift 70 lbs. on a daily basis required
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and clean driving record required. Must meet Evoqua Fleet eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle
  • US citizenship required, must be able to pass in-depth background check
  • Water treatment (RO, DI, Pretreatment experience) with strong electrical / mechanical background in an industrial atmosphere preferred
  • Must also be available for on call rotation of after-hours emergencies at assigned locations within a 30 minute to 1 hour response time
