Position Summary

Evoqua is looking for a Senior Field Service Technician to report to our La Mirada, CA facility and service the surrounding areas. 

What your day will look like as a Senior Field Service Technician

The Field Service Technician will be responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of our water purification equipment, utilizing a company service vehicle, within our PES Division. Equipment specific training will be provided. Willing to train the right person, but previous technical/mechanical/plumbing experience is especially encouraged.

This position has general day shift hours with overtime opportunities and a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

•    Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
•    Takes care of company property
•    Works with more advanced and multi/complex systems
•    Proactively trouble shoots systems for mechanical, electrical equipment conditions
•    Anticipates and corrects safety issues – both company and customer owned equipment
•    May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations or customers
•    Provides coaching or training to entry-level technicians

Job Requirements for Field Service Technicians

•    HS diploma or equivalent
•    Tech cert or degree or industry specific licenses
•    Technical military background preferred

•    Ability to obtain TWIC card
•    Class A CDL
•    3-7 years technical experience including industrial or commercial process water experience
•    Experience with Microsoft office including smart devises
•    Must have customer service experience
•    Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
•    Basic controls ability (PLC)
•    Able to pass a credit check
