Position Summary for the Project Administrator

Evoqua is seeking a motivated self-starter for a Project Administrator position in our company. You will be responsible, among other things, for coordinating project activities, maintaining and updating the project schedule, managing assignments, monitoring progress and communicating to the project team. These are design build projects that focus on the renewable energy sector and industrial system gas collector covers.  

The project administrator will report to the project manager and assist with preparing action plans, analyzing risk and managing resources. You will work closely with the project team, so strong communications skills are a must. Your mission is to help the project meet quality standards and deliver on time and within budget.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks for the Project Administrator

•    Assist PM in clerical duties such as; gathering data and generate reports as required to support PM and staff; 
•    Communicating with inter Evoqua personnel; understand scheduling activities; preparing submittals; updating schedules within SAP; attend schedule review meetings; attend large project review meetings and takes notes and action items to follow up on; 
•    Support PM from an administrative clerical; 
•    Maintain project filing structure; creation of transmittals, warranty letters, close out checklists;
•    Assist PM & PC with project closure; 
•    Tracking status of PO; placing Purchase req; may assist in various SAP data entry
•    Tracking of PM utilization

Position Requirements for the Project Administrator

FORMAL EDUCATION: 

Required:
•    AA degree  

Preferred
•    BS/BA degree - Civil Engineering or Construction Management ideal

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required: 
•    Candid and timely communication
•    take initiative
•    Proficient in MS office - Excel;
•    detail oriented
•    understanding of ERP system
•    Advanced understanding of MS Office (project, word, excel)
•    forward thinking 
•    basic business acumen
•    basic project environment
•    good organizational skills

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 25%
