Currently seeking a Channel Operations Leader to drive process efficiencies throughout all areas of the business related supporting the growing portfolio of global channel partners. This position will be help define best-in-class processes to support contracting, programs, and order-to-cash initiatives supporting our Sales and Marketing efforts. In addition, ensuring that the Partner Portal roadmap is executed and is driving business results. You will be a key ingredient to the success of the Applied Products Technology business and be required to display a high level of critical thinking and creativity as we solve the business’ most complicated problems.

 

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives with cross-functional teams to ensure all activities are managed successfully
  • Manage the overall PRM partner experience and infrastructure
  • Monitor trends and identify channel technology gaps that will drive efficiency, increased departmental productivity and faster deployment across channel partners   
  • Ensure continuous gathering and reporting of competitive intelligence and market movement
  • Simplification and marketing champion who always is looking for better and easier ways for our channel partners to interact and transact with us
  • Manage workstreams, dependencies, competing priorities, and resources for cross-functional projects
  • Act as a primary liaison for partner process roadblocks and advocate for solutions
  • Assist in the analysis of underlying system issues arising from investigations into requirements and problems and identify available solutions for consideration
  • Partner with sales management to supervise day-to-day process execution and adherence to policies, identify problems, recommend/take corrective action and communicate performance results and/or changes throughout sales organization and cross-functional business unit team
  • Create and maintain channel organization policies, procedures, training manuals, and resource material
  • Provide visibility to leadership on partner initiatives
  • Support the partner journey from onboarding process, first use assistance and continuous business review.
  • Develop a process to assess partner health, identify churn risks, and create playbooks for channel sales

 

Knowledge

  • Direct Channel Operations experience and working knowledge of CRM systems, Microsoft Dynamics preferred
  • Must be consummate team player with excellent interpersonal skills able to develop relationships, develop team, and influence at all levels and across cultures, including with customers and industry organization
  • Track record of deploying digital solutions and training programs with channel partners for quick adoption
  • Strong Partner Portal background supporting multiple partner types with diverse requirements
  • Logical thinking and ability to balance long-term strategic viewpoint with tactical execution
  • Outstanding communication skills, strong analytical and reporting acumen with ability to create dashboards for improved decision-making using SAP, Excel Analytics, Power BI, or other Analytics tools preferred
  • Experience working in a matrix organization
  • Familiar with MS Office suite (specifically Excel, Forms, Power Automate), Ariba, and Docusign
  • Innate curiosity and positive attitude

 

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of partner experience; water technology products/services industry preferred

 

Works with:

  • Channel Development Managers, divisions, customers cross-functional project teams; entry to mid-level customer and supplier associates, sales teams, channel managers and channel sales.
