Position Summary
Evoqua Water Technologies is seeking an intern to play a key role in the Internal Audit department. The position will be based in in Pittsburgh, PA, Rye Brook, NY, or Charlotte, NC. We are looking for someone who can work a full time 2024 summer internship starting in April or May 2024 and continue to work part time throughout the school year until May 2025.
Core Responsibilities and Tasks

- Assist in the performance of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) testing
- Support the execution of operational audits, as defined by the annual audit plan
- Perform monitoring activities related to completed audits to ensure management action plans are implemented
- Contribute to the review of applicable accounting/finance policies
- Perform technical accounting research
- Coordinate annual audit procedures with the Company’s external auditors
- Complete other activities as identified by the Director of Internal Audit
Position Requirements
Formal Education
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- 2025 or 2026 graduate preferred
- A minimum GPA of 3.5
Requirements
- Introductory knowledge of SOX requirements
- Foundation in core business processes
- Experience in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to develop and maintain effective partnerships and working relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
