Position Summary

Evoqua’s Finance Leadership Development Program (LDP) is a 24-month program designed to develop finance and accounting talent by providing participants with exposure to Evoqua’s manufacturing and supply chain finance and cost accounting processes and teams.  The program builds high potential, high performing individuals that understand our business and the customers we serve by rotating through various portions of our finance, manufacturing and supply chain organizations. 

Participants will have visibility and interaction with Evoqua’s senior leaders, who serve as executive mentors.  LDP associates will demonstrate leadership by completing strategic and tactical manufacturing and supply chain finance and cost accounting development projects. The rotations prepare the participants for a role in cost accounting, project accounting, or controlling.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

Key areas of responsibility may include:

  • Inventory management (incl. cycle count and physical inventory, if applicable)
  • Product costing (incl. rate development validation, cost roll, moving average vs std)
  • Project controlling
  • Planning (incl. budgeting, forecasting accuracy, monthly risk and opportunity analysis)
  • Systems competency (incl. SAP, OneStream, Power BI)
  • Cost center analysis
  • Account reconciliations
  • SOX documentation and support
  • Monthly closing activities
  • Plant productivity initiatives

Position Requirements

Education Requirements

  • Completion of undergraduate degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field; Minimum 3.00 GPA

 

Additional Details

Ideal Candidates

  • Prior manufacturing / supply chain finance accounting experience or experience within finance related functions in a multi-national organization
  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, as well as to influence the actions and decision making of others
  • Ability to self-direct work as well as demonstrate ownership and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
  • Ability to work outside boundaries to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Business acumen; basic understanding of concepts such as labor & material overhead rate development, spending and inventory analysis, and forecasting and planning
