Position Summary for the M&A Operations Integration Lead

The  Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Operations Integration Lead will support Evoqua through the integration of newly acquired businesses and strategic projects.  This role Identifies, analyzes and makes recommendations to support successful integration.  Additionally this role aligns the operational and technical teams to prepare and execute successful integration. 

 

This position is a hybrid and can be located near any Evoqua office in the United States.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks for the M&A Operations Integration Lead

  • Align operational (regen, react) & technical (engineering & PM) teams for integration
  • Coordinates planning, resourcing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting for integrations. Ensures results meet requirements regarding technical quality, reliability, schedule and cost
  • Coordination with SMEs throughout the organization
  • Provide organizational depth
  • Frequent interaction with operational business leaders, plants, engineers
  • Work directly with all operation functions across the company to craft and implement repeatable and scalable acquisitions integration processes to deliver expected deal outcomes
  • Establish and update/revise standards and core practices with lessons learned from each acquisition
  • Lead planning sessions and solution workshops to gather requirements, devise recommendations, and accelerate integration decision-making
  • Set up and administer project infrastructure and management tools for efficient and scalable tracking of multiple, simultaneous, complex M&A projects
  • Will lead M&A integration processes in partnership with executive and functional leadership
  • Build integration plan templates that can be tailored based on specifics of individual acquisitions, ensuring timely and accurate execution of all deliverables associated with assigned M&A integration programs.
  • Conduct due diligence, assess the technological risks associated with integration, and perform requirements gathering and analysis.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to increase organizational knowledge, build relationships, assist in the development of operational plans post-close, and confirm integration approach.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to create a better, faster, easier integration experience for each M&A deal.
  • Regularly reports projects and status to project stakeholders
  • Leading/facilitating/conducting team meetings for Project execution
  • Proactively identify and communicate areas for operational and strategic improvement and share best practices / learning’s

Position Requirements for the M&A Operations Integration Lead

 

FORMAL EDUCATION: 
Required: Bachelors Degree 
Preferred: Bachelors Degree – Engineering, preferably Manufacturing, Process or Project

 

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required:

  • 8+ years of experience in manufacturing or project engineering
  • Thorough understanding of manufacturing operations and processes
  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Experience managing projects; strong Project Management skills
  • Experience with Change Management
  • Technical/Business Acumen
  • Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicate cross-functionally and with senior management.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Identify problems, determine root cause, and implement permanent corrective action.
  • Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and a proven background of leading through influence.
  • Industry experience in a Lean principles / continuous improvement organization
  • Solid user of project management tools (ex. MS Projects, Devensoft, Smartsheets, etc.)

 

Preferred:
M&A integration experience
