We at Evoqua Water Technologies, LLC are so excited to share our new opportunity for a Manager, Central Planning & Operations! For this new opening, we are seeking dynamic and experienced candidates to impact the business and manage processes.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience seeing the big picture along with staying focused on the details along the way. 


Highlights of the position include:


  • Lead a robust SIOP system and process to drive successful planning and execution of projects/significant orders across all functions. 
  • Oversees process for monthly S&OP planning, generates key reporting, and facilitates meetings within the SIOP Planning cycle.
  • Deliver accurate demand forecasts to support customer demand and lower inventory by providing meaningful market intelligence to achieve sustainable growth
  • Strategic and tactical decision-making related to balancing demand and supply; aligning volume and mix capacity and capability; and integrating global financial and operating plans with strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop and deploy long-term plans, direct and ensure that appropriate planning processes and systems are in place that is compliant with corporate policies.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs and dashboards to provide comprehensive portfolio reports, analytics, and visibility around SIOP process and planning performance to all cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop planning tools and drive system integration and provide training on the SIOP process.
  • Utilize IT resources for system enhancements to support planning processes and reporting.
  • Implement solutions that drive overall process improvements and overall capability effectiveness by minimizing manual workarounds.
  • Incorporate best practices that drive improvements to weekly/monthly Demand Plan accuracy and demand bias metrics through process improvements and standardization.
  • Collaborating with sales &marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, finance, program management, and supply chain teams to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
  • Drive and lead root cause analysis processes and ensure action plans are in place to drive service and inventory improvement
  • Lead the make vs. buy process with operations, supply chain, and finance to determine the best course of supply to the product line needs to be based on capacity, cost, and lead time


The successful candidate will have the following experience, education, and attributes:


  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science or business discipline. MBA preferred
  • 5+ years in Planning (demand/material/supply) and SIOP leadership role in a manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years of inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment and  3+ years of related experience using SAP ECC 6 or SAP Hana
  • Current APIC or equivalent certification preferred
