Evoqua Water Technologies is searching for a Senior Field Service Technician.

It is primarily a Field Services Support role for the service territory technician and sales staff, and will also have primary responsibilities for assigned customer accounts.

You will:

·         Be responsible for overall account service requirements including basic testing of municipal wastewater and the management and handling of wastewater treatment chemicals and chemical feed, storage, and monitoring equipment

·         Support other technicians and sales staff on other field service activities (pre-sales discovery, product demonstrations, and demanding system installations). 

·         Collect, log, and distribute field data

·         Monitor chemical inventory, and place replenishment orders

·         Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment, and repair and PM metering pumps, piping systems, relay logic and PLC control systems, telemetry/web-based system and inventory monitoring equipment

·         Provide mechanical installation of chemical feed systems and storage tanks and customer site management via remote access technologies

·         Download/upload data and information into the customer site database

·         Enter time/mileage/materials directly into the SAP business management system for processing Service Orders, and other web-based platforms for employee account management and payroll purposes



·         Minimum requirement High School Diploma or equivalent

·         A minimum of 2-3 years of General Contracting, Installations, Trouble-Shooting, and/or Plumbing experience

·         Must have experience troubleshooting and making parameter adjustments to PLCs

·         Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), database access/entry, time reporting, and SAP or other large databases. The ability to learn new technologies quickly is a must.

·         Familiarity with web/modem remote control system access and downloadable data logging devices

·         Must have strong organizational, time management, and communication skills

·         Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record; must meet eligibility requirements to operate a fully equipped EWT company supplied service vehicle

·         Must be physically able to perform material handling and installation duties including lower elevation ladder work (20 feet or less) and be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

·         Must be willing and available to travel between 20%-30% of the time as needed (Regular regional travel required, plus occasional overnight travel, including national )
