Position Summary

Manages or supervises a team of sales professionals to sell Evoqua products, services and solutions in a designated territory or set of accounts. Develops and implements sales strategies in accordance with corporate goals in order to exceed expectations in revenue retention/growth, account profitability, and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Develops organizational strategies, analyses, and recommendations for sales. Ensures objectives align with organizational objectives. Continually evaluates existing processes to determine areas of improvement. Manages, selects, trains, motivates, reviews, coaches, develops, and retains a high-performance sales team. Responsible for providing accurate Sales Forecasting data.

•    Leads, coaches, mentors, and develos team of Sales Professionals        
•    Delivers on revenue/customer growth targets        
•    Aligns objectives of team with Organizational Goals and Objectives; objectives for assigned unit/area defined by upper management                
•    Exemplifies Evoqua's Growth Enabling Behaviors and leverages those to foster a high performing team        
•    Provides accurate Sales Forecasting data
•    Responsible for a smaller number of direct reports; hires, fires, conducts performance appraisals and pay reviews, in conjunction with more senior leaders                    
•    Other duties as assigned
 

Position Requirements

FORMAL EDUCATION:
Required:
High School Diploma of equivalent
Up to 5 years of sales experience or other applicable industry experience

Preferred:
BS/BA preferred

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
Required: 
•    Strong communication skills
•    Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
•    Ability to manage activities of team including Inside Sales Representatives and Sales Process Specialists (typically up to 6 Sales Professionals)
•    Ability to continue to carry own Sales Targets
•    Broad knowledge of the field with demonstrated leadership skills
•    Developing understanding of Sales Leadership techniques
•    Ability/latitude to make decisions to achieve defined goals
•    Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
•    Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems        
•    Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
 

Additional Details

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 50%

Salary Range: $140,000 to $160,000 total target compensation.
