Want to work for a company making an impact on the environment?  Evoqua Water Technologies, the global leader in helping municipalities and industrial customers protect and improve the world’s water is seeking a Master Field Service Technician for our Signal Hill, CA branch.

The Master Field Service Technician position is responsible for performing semi-complex equipment exchanges, installation and service execution on customer's water treatment systems.   The position requires a high level of plumbing and electro-mechanical skills, computer skills, loading and unloading of service vehicles, hand trucks as well as all applicable paperwork.



  • Performs preventative maintenance services on water filtration equipment that include data collection, analytical testing and provides feedback/recommendations to improve system performance and quality
  • Routinely performs the following services:
    • Equipment exchange, installation, and troubleshooting and Preventative Maintenance
    • Filter replacements on various types of water systems
    •  Good plumbing / electrical skills
    • Performs analytical testing and data collection of water filtration systems including DI , RO  and Lab systems
    • Able to work overtime as needed when required as well as take turn in on call rotation.
  • Ideal Candidate would have:
    • Experience with Reverse Osmosis / Deionization and Lab Water Systems ( Lab Water systems a plus) 
    • Good written and verbal skills including computer skills
    • Experience working in Pharmaceutical/ Medical / Laboratory environments
  • Promotes safe work practices and ensures high levels of customer service are met to drive profitability and growth with our customers
  • Operates in compliance with standard tools/methodologies in compliance with corporate safety standards
  • Communicates services provided via written, verbal, and electronic methods
  • Maintains a clean driving record and complies with all Fleet Safety requirements.


  • High school diploma or GED required; specialized skill training/certification may be required
  • Generally, 5-7 years of successfully demonstrated experience in area of responsibility
  • Prior Field Technician experience needed.
  • Basic computer skills (for ability to operate corporate tools, i.e. Cell Phone, tablet)
  • Mid-range plumbing, basic electrical circuit knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Electrical Multi-Meter use
  • Specialized skill/training and water certification will be provided by Evoqua
