Evoqua has an exciting opportunity for a Driver/Field Service Technician supporting our light industry customers based out of the Signal Hill area. As a High Purity Water Technician, you will perform installation, start-ups, investigative tests, troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance to our water treatment equipment (reverse osmosis, CDI, automatic softeners, carbon units and deionization water systems) at multiple customer locations. We provide training to advance you through our Technician program and pay increases that correspond with your expanded capabilities. Typical work schedule of Monday-Friday with some occasional overtime and compensated after-hours on-call rotation (once a month for a week) responsibilities, which may include weekends.



  • HS Diploma or GED equivalency; Associate’s Degree or vocational/ technical training is strongly desired
  • Industrial water treatment or water chemistry experience preferred, but not necessary
  • Must have a Class A or Class B driver's license and clean driving record, must meet eligibility requirements to drive a company vehicle
  • Must be able to pass a DOT physical
  • The ability to lift up to 75 pounds and to push or pull up to 300 pounds for up to 20% of the work day
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Must have strong mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work overtime, nights, weekends as required in the on-call after-hours rotation
  • Must be able to follow all safety rules and wear all required safety equipment
  • · Minimum of 3 years of experience in high purity water directly related to installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial equipment (pumps) preferred
  • · Minimum of 3 years of general experience in plumbing and electrical (panels) preferred
