Evoqua Water Technologies is currently seeking a Unit Supervisor in our Signal Hills, CA Processing Plant



Provides tactical level supervision to regeneration operators of a homogenous nature at a single site. This position is responsible for the safe, efficient, and profitable execution of day to day plant operations, by leveraging team members and optimizing processes to meet and exceed our customer expectations



  • Creates and maintains safe working environment and cultures within the organization
  • Participates in all safety
  • Appropriately manages company assets
  • Provides first level leadership capability including responsibility for attraction, retention, engagement, performance, development of employees
  • Manages department expenses to achieve or exceed budget/forecast expectations
  • Expected to escalate employee relations issues
  • Provide day to day direction of fundamental activities
  • Conduct daily TAB meetings with employees to ensure daily actions are being set to achieve key KPI’s around Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost and People
  • Drive the 5S and the eLM culture

  • Responsible for customer management and retention in area/scope




    • High School diploma required
    • Bachelors or technical degree preferred but not required
    • Military experience preferred but not required




    • Ability to obtain TWIC card
    • 2 years of leadership or management experience
    • Proficient with computers, business software such as Microsoft office, Skype, Teams, Oracle/SAP, cloud-based solutions
    • Ability to communicate up, down, across teams
    • Ability to lead and motivate teams
    • Demonstrates critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
    • Ability to appropriately navigate customer and internal issue
    • Some Spanish speaking ability preferred
