Position Summary

The ideal role for a driven project manager who is ready to work in a fast-paced setting. This role requires a person who is focused, ambitious, and ready to work in a team-oriented environment. To help keep the flow of the company going smoothly, this individual will need to be able to communicate effectively, pay attention to details, demonstrate outstanding customer service, and have great organization skills with progress-based time management.  

The primary role of this position is to under the demand plan, establish priorities for the factory and confirm factory execution plan with the business partners.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Serves as the primary point of communication between Sales and production, Engineering and production and shipping for Disinfection and Aquatics Product Portfolios.
  • Identify critical path material requirements schedule for all demand to satisfy forward and backward planning to customer requirement dates.
  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments and progress related to forecast demand, demand status, and revenue release.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution to minimize gaps in department silos to encourage a large team dynamic of shared success.
  • Measure performance to identify areas for improvement.   
  • Measurables include OTD (capability and reliability), efficiency & utilization, revenue achievement to budget and lead-time, and inventory balance to seasonal and economic headwinds/tailwinds.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain and the business to thoroughly understand short and long-term needs and capacities to maximize productivity and minimize schedule misses or delays.
  • Support the planning of current schedules and inventory control parameters for the assigned products and services consistent with Evoqua policy.
  • Maintains status information, compiles reports concerning progress of work and viability of meeting Customer Order due dates.
  • Interfaces with multiple departments regarding status of the materials and flow of the components and bottleneck triggers based on shortfalls in process, manpower, or training.
  • Utilizes SAP extensively to insure fully implementation and utilization of the ERP system.
  • Coordinates with other regions to harmonize internal/external demand with plant capacity to balance customer commit dates and maximum revenue.

Position Requirements

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrates a good grasp of knowledge and principles of field of specialization and applies through successful completion of assignments.
  • Successfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
  • Typically 5-10 years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
  • Advanced degree MAY be substituted for experience, where applicable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Production Planning/Estimating or Project Management experience.
  • Preferred: a minimum of 2 years experience working with SAP is strongly preferred.  
  • PMP/APICS/CSCP or CPIM certification desired.
