Position Summary

  • Support of varying engineering, manufacturing, and service processes for various product lines. Working with customer specs and in coordination with Engineering, Service, Customer Care teams. Responsible for tactical operations.
  • Execute tasks start to finish autonomously. Responsible for various engineering processes in support of engineers, FSE, Customer Care, and Customers. Operates independently to complete requirements.
  • Support the NCR and RMA processes from beginning to completion.
  • Support customers technical questions via E-mail and phone support
  • Periodically executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Demonstrates advanced engineering, service, and customer care skills.
  • Independently support Engineering, Service, Customer Care requirements.
  • At a higher level involved in functional design and application of products.
  • Provide feedback on responsible product lines.
  • Mentor and guide others.
  • Create and maintain a safe working environment and cultures within the organization.
  • Take care and maintain company property.
  • Work with more advanced and multi/complex systems.
  • Proactively troubleshoot systems for mechanical, electrical, and environmental conditions.
  • Anticipates and corrects safety issues – both company and customer owned equipment.
  • May be responsible for work in multiple systems, locations, or customer sites.
  • Provides coaching or training to entry-level technicians.
  • Use and maintain a customer call log.
  • Responsibly use and maintain a company credit card as well as utilize Concur.

Position Requirements

Formal Education:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
  • Technical military background preferred
  • Apprentice level: 2 year associate degree preferred and/or working on BS/BA degree; or 7+ years of working experience to substitute a degree

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Independent thinker
  • Ability to acquire industry specific licenses and/or certificates
  • Ability to learn and grow into a multitude of product lines
  • Ability to execute hands on tasks according to requirements of assigned duties
  • Ability to perform basic and advanced tasks as directed by a more Sr. co-workers and management
  • Experience with Microsoft office including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
  • Experience with smart devices and Windows
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and trouble shooting ability
  • Basic control’s ability (PLC and Micro Processors)
  • Able to pass a credit check
  • Ability to learn and use SAP and/or S4 HANA

Driving Requirements:

  • Able to operate a company vehicle or rental car
  • Employee Applicant Drug and Alcohol Statement
  • Copy of Driver’s License (Front and Back)
