The Senior Pricing Manager  is responsible for understanding internal and external markets and their applicability to Evoqua pricing strategies.  This involves the planning, organizing, analytics and control of data related to Evoqua OEM and aftermarket products and working directly with various stakeholders including General Managers, Commercial/Sales teams, Procurement, manufacturing Engineers and R&D to create and manage an effective pricing strategy.  The Pricing Manager will be charged with optimizing profit while managing marketing, financial, and corporate pricing objectives for all regions of the world, all applicable markets, and all sales channels related to assigned product lines.


  • Collaborate with product managers to explore pricing increase / value capture opportunities throughout all divisions and global regions, with initial focus on aftermarket
  • Continuous improvement through reliance on segmentation and targeting work done within divisions
  • Understand competitor portfolio and strengths/weaknesses, developing strategies to capture market share through pricing strategies
  • Through data analytics related to internal costing factors, establish the baseline pricing practices by product groups / products / SKUs
  • Through external data analytics, make recommendations on pricing on product groups / products / SKUs
  • Develop pricing and promotional strategies based on marketing research and competitive analysis; implement these strategies in conjunction with Sales and Marketing to establish and maintain market position
  • Assist in developing price increase rationale and roll out; create governance around price increase process
  • Establish and manages competitive price model
  • Work with sourcing and manufacturing to ensure maximum profitability
  • Participate in industry associations and working groups, interacting with industry leaders and peers to develop relationships and monitor competitive pricing activity.

  • 5+ years in marketing, product management or related role in a B2B industry
  • BS degree in business, engineering, economics, finance or equivalent; MBA preferred.
  • B2B experience developing physical products and launching globally required; Water industry experience a plus.
  • Deep knowledge of product innovation, customer journeys and marketing and solid knowledge of the overall process for new product introduction.  
  • Experience in project budgeting and resource management.
  • Demonstrated project and / or team management experience.
