Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to manage people and warehouse operations including goods receipt, picking for production, delivery for customer and storage of materials in our wearhouse. 

Warehouse Manager will initiate and implement process improvements to optimize warehouse flow, drive operation efficiency and improve productivities through lean, standardization, technology and automation. 

Warehouse Manager will need to Multitask effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and perform duties, drive customer satisfaction and inventory accuracy. Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations 
  • Ensure the materials movements are managed timely with accuracy 
  • Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities 
  • Ensure best practices are in place to optimize transportation efficiency while minimizing freight costs. 
  • Accountable for cycle counting practice and inventory accuracy 
  • Monitor and ensure the distribution team's compliance with organizational quality and safety standards, policies, procedures and directives and ensure direct reports have the proper tools, training certification and time to be successful 
  • Responsible for scheduling of associates in a way that meets demands and coordinate scheduling updates as required
  • Identify and ensure associates, customers and suppliers concerns are resolved in a timely and comprehensive manner 
  • Manage a growing high performance team of warehouse associates through closely monitored KPI's, leverage coaching and training. 
  • Improve key performance indicators of the warehouse operations 
  • Develop and drive a warehouse management strategy focused operational excellence and customer engagement that aligns with the supply chain strategy and overall business strategy 
  • Manage projects/processes to ensure best practices are implemented/maintained 
  • Coaching and Professional development 
  • Interviewing, hiring and onboarding of new staff 
  • Maintain contact with temporary staffing agencies, managing temp schedules and recommending conversions as needed

Position Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain/Logistics Management, Science or related field. 
  • 5 years experience in Shipping and Receiving, Inventory Control or Materials Management in WMS and SAP ERP. 
  • Experience in physical inventory management 
  • Outstanding leadership, organizational, people multitasking and problem- solving skills 
  • Strong analytical skills to strategically develop and execute process improvement
  • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally to support multiple business units 
  • Proven ability to partner with IT, translating functional requirements into technical specifications that can be executed cost effectively and on schedule 
  • Effective time management skills and the ability to prioritize workloads. 
  • Experience managing multiple warehouse operations 
  • 2+ years of Lean Operations experience
