Position Summary

Evoqua Water Technologies LLC’s Warwick, RI, office seeks an Engineer II to support complex projects for Engineering as well as the configuration of complex customer solutions.  Will also: (i) execute complex engineering duties with limited guidance; (ii) identify emerging water treatment technologies and assess their capabilities; (iii) develop pilot systems to validate their performance, alone or in conjunction with other processes; (iv) define the sizing and materials for equipment including pumps, piping, valves, and instrumentation; (v) develop general arrangement, process flow, and process and instrumentation diagrams; and (vi) generate project proposals, including handover documentation to execute project scop

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent degree) in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering plus five (5) years of post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible experience in a related position. 

Must have five (5) years of experience using AutoDesk Inventor 3D & AutoCAD software.

Solidworks certification required

Position Requirements

Must also have any experience with or knowledge of: (i) Microsoft Office tools; (ii) the design, installation, start up, and operation of water treatment processes, such as membrane filtration, media filtration, carbon absorption, ion exchange, disinfection and advanced oxidation; (iii) project management, business principles, and risk mitigation; (iv) fabrication and manufacturing drawings with an emphasis in weld procedures; and (v) defining the sizing and materials for equipment including pumps, piping, valves, and instrumentation

Additional Details

Must also be able and willing to travel domestically and internationally to various unanticipated employer and client locations for system start-up, optimization, and field trials as well as to provide technical support up to 25%.

Experience can be concurrent.
