Position Summary

The Channel Sales Representative is responsible for the successful attainment of sales volume objectives through utilizing 3rd Party Channel Partner (CP) strengths and enhancing CP competencies so that the Partner can better leverage Evoqua portfolio solutions. Assists Business Partners in forecasting and planning Evoqua opportunities through the application of opportunity engagement as well as the utilization of specific sales tools. Draws on a multitude of resources and cultivates relationships with the extended team of Partner executives to create, manage, and execute effective, high-ROI joint business plans. This role requires a demonstrable competence of the technical capabilities of Evoqua’s solution portfolio and, more importantly, the business acumen and managerial skill to develop and execute bold strategic plans to generate new business opportunities for CPs to pursue where those solutions will fulfill a need or create value for enterprise customer organizations. This role must act with a sense of urgency as it acts as a business advisor to 3rd Party Partner relationships and will act as a liaison between 3rd party partners and Evoqua sales teams.

Core Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Partners with both new and existing customers to sell new and recurring business in the US Aquatics market
  • Promotes a premium product in the market using a defined value proposition to partners, end users, consultants, designers and contractors
  • Ensures customer satisfaction and retention
  • Accurately records information in CRM Dynamics for use in both forecasting and SIOP processes
  • Stays up to date on portfolio technology as well as competitive info and industry trends
  • Conducts Sales Presentations and Product Demos
  • Facilitates new customer engagements (Webinars, Lunch & Learns, Trade Shows, etc.)
  • Sells complex products and services; utilizes developing knowledge of products, services, and industry to recommend best solutions to customers
  • Collaborates with strategic partners to accurately forecast opportunities
  • Creates, manages and executes effective, high - ROI joint business plans with 3rd parties
  • Coordinates with Evoqua’s corporate headquarters to ensure all legal agreements with 3rd party companies are documented accurately
  • Organizes and coordinates manufacturers’ representative events such as trainings and sales meetings
  • Drives to increase level of geographic and revenue responsibility
  • Expands scope and number of Channel Partners
  • Ensures strong partnership with internal colleagues in marketing, finance and sales to bring Evoqua values to life
  • Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

BA/BS required
10+ years of experience
Masters preferred
•    Strong communication skills
•    Intra-departmental communication for purpose of alignment/information sharing
•    Expert level of understanding of Evoqua's suite of Products and Services and how the Business Partner can leverage it to meet client needs
•    Advanced competency of the elements of commerce and industry and their impact on the business partner
•    Ability to develop and execute on a plan aligned with the strategic goals of both the Partner and Evoqua
•    Ability to leverage multiple resources and navigate Evoqua processes to drive stated results
•    Ability to act independently
•    High level of influence on product/service and selling strategy
•    Must have an acceptable driving record to be insurable to drive for company business
•    Basic understanding of ERP and CRM systems
•    Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel)
