VETERANS AMONG US
Ed May, VP, Sourcing and Lean, joined Evoqua in October 2014, formerly serving in the United States Navy Submarine Service aboard a Ballistic Missile Nuclear Submarine in the boats supply division. During the course of his successful career in manufacturing, he often calls on the fundamental skills he learned during these formative years.
“My military experience equipped me with several intangible attributes such as flexibility, adaptability and the ability to work under pressure to meet commitments. These are characteristics that are not only in high demand, but also considered essential in today’s global, fast-paced economy. The men and women that have served our country in the military have proven to be well equipped to take on challenges facing today’s business world. Evoqua is a company that values military experience with examples throughout the organization of veterans who are very capable leaders.”
